Hello!! Welcome to the NC Biology Resources website.
My name is Michelle and I am a NC biology teacher. I felt very inefficient spending all of my time gathering resources and not having enough time to really focus on parent contacts and child mentoring, so I organized this site so that all NC biology teachers can share their ideas and offer the best course for our students. Why reinvent the wheel, right?!
I have divided the NC standard course of study (for regular biology) into 13 units with 71 total subunits. Each subunit has its own page where teachers can access and add their own resources. Yes, it is free because I benefit from the resources you add as much as you benefit from the site. That is my payment!
If you would like to access the resources offered by this site, just click Teacher Resources on the left panel. This is a work in progress, so many pages are not finished, but I will be working on it steadily. This is your opportunity to make a big impact on the site as well. Whenever you want to add material to a page, just click "Add Your Stuff" on the left panel and a page will pop up with instructions (you may need to disable your pop-up blocker).
I hope you find materials on this site that are useful. If you do, please repay the favor and load one or two samples of your own material on the site for all of us to share. Thanks and happy teaching!! :)
